Margaret Y. Luévano writes and lives in Austin, Texas. She holds a BA in international relations from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, an MA in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College. Margaret’s favorite smell is a toss up between crayons and the mountain laurel flower, and her favorite cookie is the snickerdoodle.
