You know this idea is not half bad. Dennis' girlfriend could join him and they could settle in Pickax and become main characters for the "next generation". There needs to be a murder and a bad guy crop up. I think Dennis would make a good bad guy full of hate and anger from the past. His girlfriend could be ultra sweet and nice and after settling in Pickax, he puts off thier marriage. They break up and she is befriended by Walley Toddwhistle who is in his thirties by now and never married. Walley turns up murdered.

Well that is if we want Dennis to be the bad guy. If we want him to be the good guy.............hum, maybe an evil gold digger will crop up. Fun times in Pickax!
