The introduction says - "Heidi is sent away from the tranquility of the mountains to tend to a sick cousin in the city ...."
But in reality, Heidi never had a cousin. Aunt Dete returns 3 years later to bring Heidi to Frankfurt as a companion, playmate and schoolmate of a 12-year-old girl named Klara Sesemann, who is regarded as an invalid (a sick person).

Hi Ninad--thanks for catching that! Though this wasn't our error, it is in the introduction that was originally published with the print edition this text was taken from. I can however put a footnote in there about this next time I update the book.
