For Authors
Girlebooks offers three options for authors seeking to offer their works on our website. Please note that we do not add digital rights management (DRM) to our ebooks.
1. Free Ebook
If you would like to offer your work for free in our ebook catalog, please request more information through our contact form.
2. Ebook Store Retail Distribution
If your work is already formatted into the minimum ebook formats (PDF, ePub, Mobipocket), you have a cover designed, and would like to sell your ebook in our ebook store, please request more information through our contact form.
3. Author Program
If you would like Girlebooks to format your work into ebook formats, optionally help you design a cover, and offer your work for sale in our ebook store (with the option to publish to other online stores such as the Amazon Kindle store and Barnes & Noble ebook store), please read the following Author Program details and submit your work using the form below.
- Girlebooks Author Program details
- Works may be of any genre: short stories, novels, non-fiction, or poetry.
- We welcome submissions by both men and women. Keep in mind that the content should appeal to our our primarily female readership.
- Works should be thoroughly proofread and ready for publishing before submission.
- Works can be in Word document, RTF, or PDF formats. If the work is accepted, we will format it to various ebook formats for distribution.
- Authors must own the copyright and world-wide electronic rights to the work submitted.
- Our author agreement is non-exclusive, meaning authors are free sell their works in print or electronic format elsewhere.
- There are no fees associated with being our Author Program.
- Authors in our program keep 50% of royalties generated from all sales.
