I’ve put it off long enough, so here it goes. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, available for free download. You know the story, you’ve probably read it several times already, you’ve seen the Colin Firth wet shirt scene more times than you care to admit, and you even enjoyed the Keira Knightly version in spite of yourself. Why not give the book another go in ebook format? I know I will!
Jane Austen has now surpassed Willa Cather as the author with the most ebooks on our site. In hopes of diversifying the book options a bit, I hope to get some more Canadian literature on the site later this week–at a suggestion from one of our readers. I’ll also post the stats on the most popular book downloads. Some surprising things here, notably The Awakening being our top download. Maybe I should look for some more steamy, adulterous books–y’all seem to be into that!
I’m riding the NaBloPoMo Randomizer from blog to blog. Today it brought me to you.
Steamy and adulterous - now there’s an attention-getter.
It’s been ages since I’ve read that book. I’m not even sure I remember what it was about. I too am riding the NaBloPoMo randomizer tonight. Hmmm…steamy and adulterous..is that anything like heaving bossums and throbbing thighs?
y’all are making me laugh. steamy and adulterous indeed! i will have to get on looking for more ebooks like that.
