I just finished Anne of the Island and loved it! I think her writing gets better as it goes. I'm going to post the book for download and a review on the blog soon. I'm also looking forward re-watching the Anne mini-series (I think we watched that in your livingroom as youngsters, Margaret).

LOVE Anne series. Also read the Emily series and found it just as fun. LM Montgomery was one of my favorites growing up. Inspired a temporary obsession with Canada, eh.

No I haven't but I did read a collection of her short stories Chronicles of Avonlea. They were much more serious stories of heartbreak but still very good.

I too love Anne. I've heard that LM Montgomery's "Emily" series is just as good. Have you read any of those, Chris?
